「Wow what a find! This property is wonderful, it really is a bargain price compared to others, perfect location with so much to do in the surrounding areas. The lodge is cleaned to the highest of standards and so homely and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Prior to arrival Louise was great with her communication and on arrival everything was perfect and the guest book was so useful with loads of suggestions for things to do. We had the most wonderful holiday, definitely booking again.」

「I had a great stay,I booked the unit a day before my arrival and once booked I received all the check in info immediately, no key was needed all acess is through a keypad system which is nice.The unit was very spacious and cozy,I really liked the kitchen set-up,Carlisle is a wonderful city and fun to explore and the apartment was only a 5 minute walk to the train station.」

「Vicky greeted us on arrival & it was nice to know she was nearby to help with any queries or issues. (There weren’t any.) The apartment was warm & cosy with all we needed for our long weekend. The hot tub was a special treat after a long, chilly walk. Thank you, Vicky.」

「This is a fantastic property. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although close to the main road (and easy access to local amenities, walks and beautiful beaches), it is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed having the pool/ping pong table in the lounge. Would love to return for another stay.」

A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!」

「I booked this lodge via VRBO as a mini break for my birthday with my 8 year old son. The VRBO website clearly stated that the lodge had a private hot tub, as did my booking confirmation. However, upon arrival I discovered that there was NO hot tub. The actual lodge was lovely but VRBO mis-advertised the property. The lodge was on a holiday park and the reception staff advised that this happens at least once a week with either VRBO bookings or another booking site I’m not allowed to name in the...

「Cosy, well equipped cottage with a lovely view. Our elderly parents loved that they didn't have to go anywhere to enjoy the beach and they could get out for easy walks. With amenities just a few minutes drive away and local to wildlife viewing options this worked well for us. None of us were keen to leave.」
