「Stayed two nights during the week and we enjoyed how quiet it was. Parking was easy. Walkable to restaurants. The room was clean and loved the heated toilet seat! Staff were also very friendly. We will definitely go back. 」

「We had an amazing time at this beautiful inn. The quaint setting, spectacular environment, and amazing food made for a wonderful birthday celebration. This is our second time in Calistoga and both times we stayed at the Château de vie. We highly recommend having this experience.」

「One of the best, most traditional B & B's that I've stayed at! Grounds are well kept and beautiful, rooms are cozy and full of history. Breakfast was unique and better than expected. If we head back to Cloverdale, we'll stay there again!」

「We very much enjoyed our stay! As fellow creatives, it was fun to be immersed in a Big Art Project that we learned about during the home gallery tour. 「My family and I stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The place is well equipped and very cozy with a wood burning fireplace, beautiful outdoor spaces (including multiple fire pits) and comfortable bedrooms. The host is also amazing - communication before, during and after was easy and included fantastic recommendations. And to top it all off, they even treated my family and I to a complimentary tasting at a local winery. Would definitely recommend!」

「We got our family together to celebrate a 60th birthday at this perfect spot, and as my children described it was Idyllic! Such a comfortable home, the property is so well kept, the location was perfect. The property management was very quick to support us, we appreciate being able to enjoy such a treat!」

「What a lovely little property! The location was great and a very short drive into town and close to many wineries. We spent every morning sitting out on the cute patio drinking coffee and listening to the birds under the beautiful trees. And it was the best stocked house we have ever stayed in! Great selection of spices for cooking and all the other essentials. Fantastic!」

Wonderful site, a few tweaks would make it amazing

"We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility."
