“Loved the restaurant. Excellent service. Everyone we met was very friendly and cheerful throughout our stay. The treatment in the Spa was very good but the Spa area is too small. And due to it being half term - full of grandparents and parents with small children who took over the pool. Nowhere to relax as all the empty seats were piled up with used towels. The hotel should consider removing the gym and expanding the Spa IMO! Would go back for the hotel and it's excellent location and quality……

“Accommodation is expensive but excellent. Restaurant service could have been more relaxed. Location is superb alongside the river. Restaurant is overpriced ! Having said that we will be back because of the excellent location and the fabulous suite we had. ”

“A lovely stay in order to go to a concert nearby: this was a very good room, with a very impressive bathroom, and it's own entrance. Despite being there during some iffy weather, we had a good time exploring the surrounding area.”

“One night bed and breakfast stay. Excellent facilities including both indoor and outdoor pools with spa facilities. Very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The only slight criticism was the bathroom could do with a refurbishment. (Room 18). We choose to have an evening meal at the ferryman pub, just a short walk away but the cooked breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here again.”

“We had a one night family birthday treat for my husband. 2 teenagers and a dog were perfectly catered for. We had 2 adjoining rooms on the ground floor with private access outdoors. The hotel had really thought about our accommodation. The food was excellent and they made every effort to help our birthday celebrations. The pool and sauna were wonderful and the grounds were heavenly. I wish we could have stayed longer!”

“Genuinely warm welcome after long horrendous journey was appreciated. Fantastic service throughout stay to us and dog. Smallish double room and ensuite was a bit of a squeeze with dog in tow. Some nice extras like bottled water and tasty biscuits for dog and her humans! Good choice of foods for breakfast. Food consumed was freshly cooked and tasty”
