「Loved the patio and lake. Was very quiet, sad lounge closes for the season. Hot tub would have been wonderful. Staff friendly. The sunset was magnificent. They didn’t refill the toilet paper, so the night of 2nd day, we had to go find some. Could use more lighting, and maybe some pics on the wall. 」

「Never ever take this hotel.....it's the most disgusting hotel that we ever stay before!! I even got itching after sat on the couch! By the way, we'ad booked for 4 nights for 2 rooms , but the front desk sent us an invoice and asked us to check-out (paid everything upfront)on the 4th morning; although we're more than happy to leave it, but who is going to return me the difference?」

「The house has an amazing history; is filled with period antiques including circa 1860’s pump organs, and a Geo Prince melodeon. It’s a true treasure in a historical area of Iowa. Close to Meredith Wilson museum and a walking distance from Frank Lloyd Wright’s only hotel (a must see!) Breakfast was superb and make from scratch. 「This place is amazing. Host was very attentive Checked with me to make sure everything was ok. One of the smoke detectors started beeping cause the battery was low contacted host and someone came within a half hr. We will definitely stay again.」

「We had booked multiple rooms only to find out there were no rooms for us. The hotel did not notify us in advance that the Travelocity booking was unable to be satisfied. Needless to say this is a huge problem if rooms cannot be confirmed and held when an active Travelocity itinerary appeared as though rooms were confirmed 」

「Came to town for a Halloween party, which we attend every year. I usually get a hotel but decided to go with Vrbo this year. So glad I did! So much more comfortable and saved me money. The property host left us a bottle of wine to enjoy. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Angel.」
