「The magical mattress and pillows gave us a very comfortable night stay at Calm Sea. The room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds is cozy and good size. We love the little corner table with some games. The breakfast is awesome! The hosts Mel & Trish are very friendly and helpful :)」

「This was a jem of a find couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room and the hotel itself. The owners and their staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent and a good choice. Off road parking was good and on their property. It's ideally situated near the town and beach with about a 15 minute walk. We would definitely stay here again without a doubt and would highly recommend this hotel.」

The bed was comfortable and the host was friendly & helpful, but the room was not very clean, with dust & cobwebs all over. The shower hose was encrusted which wasn’t very appealing. 「A warm welcome and a comfortable, quirky room. A view out to sea or along the promenade towards the town centre. Breakfast was plentiful, no need for lunch! And plenty of choice too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks!!!」

「We arrived to a view friendly welcome and shown to a lovely room overlooking the sea, The position on the promenade couldn't be more perfect. The building has been beautifully updated but maintains lovely georgian features in particular the bay windows overlooking the sea. Breakfast was lovely and we were especially pleased when we explained we would miss Saturday breakfast as we were doing Parkrun - no problem - the lovely owners simply put back breakfast time for us.
