「The host, Justin, is an amazing one-man-band. Incredibly welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The room I stayed in was lovely; clean, bright and warm. Each day my fridge was restocked with water and fresh milk. The breakfast was always fabulous, especially the poached eggs (perfect!). Plenty of parking (free) and beautiful countryside, though not far from all amenities (3 min drive). Pub within walking distance. I will definitely stay again and will recommend to visiting friends and family. 」

「We arrived to a view friendly welcome and shown to a lovely room overlooking the sea, The position on the promenade couldn't be more perfect. The building has been beautifully updated but maintains lovely georgian features in particular the bay windows overlooking the sea. Breakfast was lovely and we were especially pleased when we explained we would miss Saturday breakfast as we were doing Parkrun - no problem - the lovely owners simply put back breakfast time for us. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Breakfasts are cooked exactly to your choice and include buffet options. Of particular note is the selection of proper coffees, also provided in your room. Owners Sandra and John are exceptional hosts, friendly and attentive to your needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in highly recommending The Lantana. 」

「What a find! Needed a hotel asap as our camper needed extended time at Grarage so couldn’t go to our booked campsite. Booked at 4 Friday and arrived at 7:30pm and this was half term! Wasn’t expecting much but our spacious room was incredible, double fronted window directly over looking beach, incredible sunrise each morning over water. Used Tesco club points so only cost a few pounds. Reasonable rates anyway. Friendly staff. Decor is not tasteful but that didn’t bother us, pleasant and clean...
