「Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay 」

「Hotel was in an ideal location for us to attend a wedding nearby. In a very nice setting with plenty of parking. Room was comfortable and clean although in common with the rest of the hotel it was a little dated. WiFi was good. Breakfast was reasonable for the money although the extra £5 charge for different dishes such as eggs Benedict wasn’t really needed as the dish is probably no more costly than the full English we did have. 「The person that met me seemed very disinterested. The room they gave me didn't match the pictures on Hotels.com. It was tiny, I wouldn't have booked it if the pictures had shown the correct room. The shower didn't work. The person seemed unconcerned, just said a guest had broken it and there was a bathroom down the hall.
