「Trash barrel in bathroom was not emptied by maid from previous guest, chair leg was broken, electrical outlet in bathroom was coming out of the wall, no vents in bathroom, restaurant only open a few days, ice machine not working and pool steps not marked for safety. Location convenient to Saybrook and Centerville.」

「We were with a group of friends attending a wedding. Diane, the Inn keeper was delightful. The new owners who just took over this month, came to meet us at breakfast - we wish them the best of luck! Each room is unique. Was a very hot day but the rooms were comfortably cooled & a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely with home made goods - something for everyone. 「Had issue with check in. Nothing sent to phone as stated because of limited cell service in area. Had to go to office to get room and code. They have wrong room and had to go back for correct room. This was frustrating because it was after the check in time, which is later than most properties. The unit was fine, bare bones with decor etc. shower in one bathroom was leaking. I have stayed on property few times. This time was definitely less impressive.」
