「Great little place with a very friendly staff. My son had an early morning soccer game that was about 3 hrs from home so we were looking for lodging for the night close by. Everything seemed to be booked up when i came across this place. I'm so glad i booked it. The rooms were spotless and the natural spring water it ran off of was amazing. It doesn't have a pool but we went in the off season and had no time for a pool anyway. The beds were comfy and it was nice and peaceful. Will definitely...

「Me and my girlfriend were looking for a nice place to stay for our anniversary. This was exactly what we were looking for! Place was very cute and cozy in the winter months with the furnace and the modular couch. We plan to come back in the warmer months considering how enjoyable our stay was and to use the grills and fire pit!」

「This is a beautiful, contemporary cabin set at the end of a one lane gravel road at the top of a mountain. The views are wonderful. The cabin is very comfortable and the bed sleeps great! You have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It is very quiet and dark at night. I was able to photograph the Milky Way from the balcony of the cabin! If you want a quiet get away close to New River Gorge National Park, this is a great place to escape to.」

「Really liked the property. There were only 2 of us but it would have been more fun with a group. Great outdoor sitting space. It was cold and lots of extra blankets around. If you forgot something it was there for you. The only negative and it is a personal preference is there are other homes around. No one bothered us, we didn’t even see anyone. I felt perfectly safe, just a preference. The hosts were great. Called me to give me some tips to get there. Very appreciated.」

「Beautiful Victorian home that was decorated perfectly for the era! The family was super friendly and helpful! The children were there when we first arrived and were adorable, pleasant and so well behaved! Delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies were available when we checked in. Breakfast was really good. They served warm homemade muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and more! My husband and I were very pleased and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. 」

The property is quiet and peaceful. The deck was nice to sip our wine after hiking and exploring the area.

「We loved this house, so much character. The owner was so sweet and helpful. We cooked and ate our meals here (you can even do a grocery pickup at the Kroger which is not far away). We loved listening to the river, and truly just enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back!」

「My wife picked this amazing getaway because of its mid century modern decor, as it is her favorite. Little did we know how just how special we were made felt on this trip. The host(s) have a coffee shop attached to the unit that serves AMAZING breakfast. They were so nice and hospitable. Lots of great conversation. 「John is a great host and this is a great place. I was super thankful for how comfortable the bed and couch ere - felt very 'at home'. If you are a light sleeper, the proximity to the train tracks may cause you some grief. 」
