Davos is expensive! No surprise there, I know, but I expected a little more from the hotel for the amount we paid.
The good: It's a walk of under 10 minutes from the train station, ski lifts, stores and restaurants. The room was very clean and quiet. Nice towels. Glasses (not cups), which is good for the environment
Could be improved: The curtains are thin and don't block the street lamps. The shower is a standing stall in the corner of the bathroom with a curtain and a shallow bottom, so it soaks the floor. We requested that our room be cleaned because we were almost out of toilet paper, but the housekeeper didn't add any paper and we had to ask for it at the front desk. No kettle, coffee or tea. Toiletries are in individual plastic bottles rather than eco-friendly dispensers.
Note that the front desk is not staffed for parts of the day, so if you arrive earlier than expected, you have to call (which we couldn't, as we had no cell service and the staff wasn't on WhatsApp).
