We loved our stay here. Convenient to all of our favorite things like the Boyle County Public Library, Danville High School, and The Hub! The furnishings were beautiful, we enjoyed the art and the classic touches found all around the apartment. A Beautiful Home
I booked this house last minute on a decision to get away for a personal retreat. The house was all it showed and more! Since my plans were to stay in for the time staying there, I found the home to be an oasis to rest and restore at. The internet worked well, the furniture was cozy and extremely comfortable, and the atmosphere was perfect for my weekend plans. This is a great spot, within walking distance to restaurants downtown, quiet, beautiful rooms with gorgeous furniture! I highly recommend and I definitely have plans to come back for future personal or writing retreats.

Quick trip to Centre College
In town for a sporting event at Centre College, hubby & I spent 2 nights at The Green Door. Meticulously clean, beautifully furnished & a great location make this a highly desirable place to stay. We walked the 2 blocks for dinner, coffee & breakfast with little need to move our car!

Loved the apartment with two minor issues. This is a second story apartment so you need to haul your stuff up stairs, second issue is parking is tight, if you have a larger vehicle it may not work. Otherwise everything was great.

The title really says it all. The property is beautiful and full of charm. It is spacious, clean, and chock-full of antique furniture. It was everything my family needed for a comfortable stay, including basic kitchen supplies. The location is easy walking distance to the heart of downtown Danville--which is vibrant for a small town including a number of eateries and coffee shops. Parking can be tight but if you only have one vehicle it is no problem. The owner is very responsive and friendly. As an example, during our stay, the shower head malfunctioned but within a few hours of contacting the owner it was replaced.

A Stay at Green Door
The Green Door is a great place to stay. It's quiet, clean, comfortable and close to everything in town. The whole process was easy and efficient. I have no complaints. I get to Danville at least once a year. I will, from now on, see if Green Door is available when I need to be in town.

A nice house
The house and host are not the issue with this rating. The owner was very accommodating and nice and communicated well with us. I was not able to make the trip as I had to work but my wife and daughter stayed because my daughter was in her friends wedding. The owner stated that they needed to park on the grass in the front yard. They didn’t feel comfortable doing that and he also stated the workers remodeled a home next door to him and hit his car three times. That’s not something they felt comfortable with. They decided to go to a hotel. I would love a refund of at least one nights stay. I understand it probably won’t happen due to it was not able to be re rented for the weekend.

Had a great time and felt very welcome
David was great. Easy to get a hold of and talk with as we approached Danville for our stay. He was also easily reachable and helpful while we were there. The apartment had great southern charm with plenty of beautiful art. It was great for the adults vibe but wasn't too dolled up to the point that the kid's couldn't comfortable. They also liked it! Lots of space for a family of four to stretch out. We'll definitely stay again when we come back.

David is an excellent host. We hosted holiday gatherings throughout our stay and this property had everything needed to host dinners, brunch, fun, and games. If anything was needed, David provided whatever we needed. This is our third time staying at this home and won’t be the last!!

Visiting historical sites around Danville
What a wonderful place to stay. The home is impeccably decorated filled with lovely art and furniture. It was so relaxing and comfortable that we loved staying in one day due to rain. There’s games, books,magazines and puzzles to enjoy. The beds and linens are high quality and made for great nights of sleep. Walking distance to historic points of interest and also restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, shops and a local brewery. Kitchen is fully stocked if you prefer to cook while there. Wow what an awesome stay!

Beautiful home in the city
David's home is a beautiful, cozy upstairs apartment in downtown Danville. There's plenty of household supplies. Parking is located in front, right side of driveway bordered by a white fence. Two cars could fit. We had an extended crewcab truc. So that was a little tighter fit to get in and out. It was nice to be located walking distance to the coffee shops.
