「Our stay at Whispering Pines was great! It was very peaceful and comfortable. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. My only issue was that we had no cell phone service. This is in no way a negative for the property! We have Verizon and could only get service if we drove into town. If you are needing to check in at home daily as we were, it would be an issue. That being said we would still stay here again!」

「This is a great little house that is very nostalgic. You can’t fish the creek but it is very near several places that you can. It is close to town with the feel of being in the country. The owners are on the property and are very sweet」

「We stayed here with 10 kids and 6 adults. It was AMAZING! There was adventure for the kids around the property, campfires to be had, and serene spaces for the adults. The house was sprawling so the kids could easily be having a loud silly time on one side of the house, while the adults talked in the kitchen. I’m not sure that this would be as relaxing with toddlers, but with school aged kids and teenagers it was FANTASTIC! We hiked to the swimming hole. The kids put on plays. It was so so nice....

「We were able to pick your four daughters and their families together at this beautiful home. The room set ups were perfect to accommodate everyone; and the grandkids loved the backyard space. They swam, played checkers, ate s’mores, and enjoyed the hot tub. Highly recommend.」

Fast forward a few months and she remembered our conversation and explained an easier way to get in with a wheelchair. It is so hard to find a VRBO where a wheelchair can access every part of the house and use all the doors! We will...

「The couch was terrible. Needs to be replaced and the beds were pretty but when you laid down you could feel the metal slats. Not comfortable. Also one of the beds needs to be King. We would love to come back if these items were taken care of.」

「This place is awesome. The view is amazing and it is very peaceful there. I got to admit that I was worried this was in the middle of a pasture and there were going to be cows everywhere but actually the cabin/home is right off the driveway overlooking the beautiful rolling hills with a great view of the mountains. Additionally, it is located only about 10 - 12 minutes from downtown Blue ridge and is an easy drive to everything. The inside of the home is cozy, updated, adorable and very clean....
