「The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. It was a great location for our extended family getaway. The pool was perfect and provided good shade for the children. There is a sandpit and a wooden lookout that are not pictured, but were a lovely surprise. The house was spotlessly...

「Nous avons été déçu de notre gîte. Les alentours sont mal entretenus, l’impression d’abandon. Dans la chambre n°3, le matelas est plus large que le sommier. La cuisine: manque de vaisselle, d’ustensiles de cuisine, de bols pour déjeuner. Des plats rouillés. Pas de vraie cafetière… il faut des dosettes senseo. Manque aspirateur, seau et serpillère pour faire le ménage. Sur la terrasse, les lattes en bois se soulèvent, le salon de jardin est vieillissant, odeur de fosse septique.」

「Had a wonderful week here in Perigord Vert. We enjoyed the local scenery, villages and attractions. Cathy was a wonderful host - thank you for the lovely food gifts and the beekeeping lesson! So interesting. Would recommend to larger groups and families - everything perfect and lots of space and lots of bathrooms and showers!」

「Le très mauvais temps n'a pas permis d'apprécier la région, ni les extérieurs du gîte (piscine...), dommage. Toutefois Brantôme tout proche vaut le détour et Sarlat aussi mais plus loin. Le gite est spacieux, beaux espaces, etc. Mais les propriétaires ont dû improviser des solutions de remplacement de sanitaires.」

「We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in this lovely gîte. Sandra and Alun gave us a very warm welcome and were very helpful on where to visit and recommendations on where to eat. The accommodation is very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by and using the pool. We particularly enjoyed exploring Brantôme, Périgueux, Bourdeilles, the caves at Villars and the surrounding area. We highly recommend this gîte and would stay here again. Thank you Sandra and Alun 」

「La maison a été rénovée récemment et tout est impeccable à l'intérieur. Beau séjour et chambres spacieuses, c'est parfait pour 6 personnes. En extérieur, grande terrasse sur 2 côtés de la maison. Le jardin venait d'être refait (printemps 2024) et la pelouse neuve mais ça ne pourra que s'améliorer. Très belle piscine à débordement, de belle dimensions. Attention cependant, pas de couverture pour ce type de piscine. Et donc..... elle est franchement fraîche après le 15 août (nuits autour de 12°)....

「Das Haus war wirklich sehr schön. Es ist groß und die drei Bäder sind auch sehr praktisch. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gut, auch die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Nicht alles top modern, aber ein guter Standard. Der Pool ist hervorragend. Es ist ein großes Grundstück - mit großer Wiese und einigen Obstbäumen. So gibt es auch an heißen Tagen genug schattige Plätze. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, man kommt sofort auf schöne Wanderwege. Der nächste Bäcker und andere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ein wenig...
