Green Gables Estate is a stunning historic treasure. Nestled atop 27 acres, the manor offers 12 bedrooms, 5.5 baths & sleeps 26 people w/ up to 13 additional day only visitors ($35pp). Coming Spring 2025 our 3 bed 2 1/2 carriage house adds an additional 8 overnight + 4 day visitors. The grounds boast a 50 ft pool, grand patios, pond w/ waterfall, tennis/pickleball, putting green, firepit, trails, sports fields & kids playhouse. The carriage barn hosts a gym, yoga studio, theater, & game tables.
The Space:
Completely enclosed by a stone wall around the entire 27 acres, guests have exclusive use of the Estate. The main house boasts extensive porches, patios and a sunroom with large hot tub on the patio. Inside, the main floor boasts a chefs kitchen, Great room, dining room & parlor. The second & third floor comprise of 12 stunning bedrooms, 5 1/2 bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the estate. The grand patio is perfect for large gatherings outside. Across the patio sits the Carriage house which in spring 2025 will offer an additional 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths, a second full kitchen, dining/conference space seating 36, and a second laundry set. The grounds make Green Gables truly special. Our spacious lawn with the grand swimming pool (open May-Sept), tennis/pickleball courts, golf tee boxes & putting green, firepit, disc golf, playground & playhouse and a host of other outdoor games and activities are only the beginning. Trails through the lovely woods brings you to our stream, pond and waterfall where arched bridges, a boathouse, and kayaks add to the fun. Back inside the Carriage barn, a game room complete with billiards, ping pong and foosball await! The barn also hosts our gym, theater, and yoga/multipurpose space.
Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive and full access to the property and all the amenities except for the caretakers quarters.
The Neighborhood:
Near Spectacular Buck Hill Falls, Skytop resort, Mt. Airey casino & golf resort, multiple ski resorts, Pocono Outlet shopping, and the lovely villages of Barrett township. The Estate sits central to the best of all that the Poconos entails.
Getting Around:
Cars are recommended. Grocery, Pharmacy, restaurants, post office, gas and most services are all within 1 mile of the property.
Other Things to Note:
For reservations after spring 2025 that include the additional carriage house, an additional $225 cleaning fee is assessed if using that home.
