「The host Sarah was more than accommodating. We stayed in a lovely cabin with views of the surrounds, kangaroos grazing as the sun started to leave us. Everything in the way of breakfast was provided for us to help ourselves. Main kitchen well stocked and there was also a huge spa. It was lovely and relaxing and exceptionally quiet just as we liked after a long drive. Thank you very much Sarah, the cabin was cozy and comfortable and just what we were looking for. 「Wonderful despite the rainy weekend. The tiny house was cosy with a toasty fire, or diesel heater when we wanted instant heat. The shower was hot, the bed comfy. Our hosts made sure we could get across the paddock to the tiny house when it was looking too damp for our car to make the journey in the wet. At night the stars were clearly visible from our own private river valley, complete with our own outside fire place beside the river. We took advantage of a tasty breakfast from the main house...

「In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer!」
