「Amazing property and facilities and staff are lovely. Lots of restaurants, shops and rhings to do within walking distance. Close to the marina and easy to book tours nearby. 」

「What a great unique property tucked in so close to the strip area, yet you would never know. Lots of amenities close by. Sadly, we were only able to visit for 4 nights, and loads of rain. Still able to enjoy pool area, which has the feeling of a tropical garden. Will definitely be planning to return to Port Douglas and this beautiful property, for a much longer visit 」

「Great location, close to restaurants, cafes, shops and the beach. We may have missed the information about there not being an elevator, but would have appreciated knowing in advance.」

「Nice apartment in a good central location ... only 10 minutes from the main street in Port Douglas. Lovely welcome from the receptionist, Rhian, who gives a great first impression. Nice swimming pools, although could do with some umbrellas over lounges for some shade. Balcony area was dirty and therefore not inviting. Overall a good stay though.」

「This was our 3rd time staying in PD, first time at Saltwater - which was absolutely amazing. The location right in town on Macrossan is awesome. It is right in the middle of everything, but still very quiet in the room. So much easier than grabbing a shuttle all the time if you stay at the resorts out of town which we had done previously. Staff were very kind, kids loved the pool. Apartments are spacious with high ceilings and a nice outlook from balcony. We will be back!」

「Nice resort! Clean room, friendly staff, wonderful pools! Decent continental breakfast, and we loved the pancake machine! The only one thing. We booked 1 bedroom apartment and we thought it wil be a separate bedroom, but unfortunately it was a studio, with a wall pretending to separate it in the middle of the room. Apart from that, everything was very enjoyable.」

「I was upgraded to an apartment which was so spacious and comfortable. Only drawback was that wifi did not work anywhere in the complex, which is unusual. There was also a very loud smoke alarm at 12.30am that would have woke up everybody. I was informed a fire in a microwave in a room triggered it. But did it have to sound in the entire complex? Quite a shock! Luckily I got back to sleep.」
