“Wir waren mit zwei Familien (11 Personen) da. Es gibt ausreichend Platz und vor allem die vielen Badezimmer sind toll. Die Ausstattung ist super, es hat uns an Nichts gefehlt. Vor Allem der Aussenbereich bietet jede Menge Möglichkeiten. Der Ort selber ist nicht so sehenswert. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Alles war sauber und Jo war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. ”

“The house is lovely and in a beautiful area but has not really been set up for renting. The communication from the owner was poor, with no communication until just before arriving, and no instructions left for running the house. This then became an issue when we left. We had put all the recycling in the bins at the end of the drive. There was no bin or area for glass so we created a box with glass bottles in. This was then raised as an issue when we left, plus we were charged an additional £83……

Das Haus ist groß und gut ausgestattet, der Garten riesig und bietet mit dem kleinen Pool, der Tischtennisplatte, dem Federballnetz usw. und der Größe unendliche Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten für Groß und Klein. Die Lage ist toll: man befindet sich im ruhigen Nirgendwo, gleichzeitig bietet die Gegend eine Vielzahl an Ausflugsmöglichkeiten (Schlösser, Strände, wunderbare Städte, aber auch Kajakfahrten) und tolles Essen.……

“We enjoyed our hosts immensely -- always helpful, full of fantastic suggestions for local things to try and to do - from night markets, wineries, to beaches and more! The pool was so nice to come home to, and we didn't have enough time to try all the games, bikes, and things available on site! It felt like home away from home in a region of France that is so relaxed, friendly, and welcoming. We were very grateful for our time there. Thanks to Leslie and Felix.”

“We had a perfect stay in Elske’s beautiful property in Chadenac. It is really well equipped with a lovely warm pool and plenty to keep us amused such as basketball, table tennis and trampolining. We were looked after very well by Elske’s Team. It was perfectly situated for trips into the château town of Jonzac and historic Pons and only 40 minutes from the estuary towns of Mortagne and Talmont. A stay here is very highly recommended.”
