This is a wonderful family owned hotel. The property is kept in good condition. The pool is fantastic. Theres no hot tub. But, its like 30°C everyday! Theres no gym. The rooms are a nice cozy size. The bed is very comfortable. Coffee maker and safe are provided, along with water.
The street traffic can be heard majority of the day. In the evenings it lets up.
The hotel would really be considered a motel in North America as its all open to to the outside by walkways upstairs and downstairs. I sat out in the mornings and enjoyed my coffee before going down to the hotel restaurant for an included buffett breakfast. It was a basic selection of rice, eggs, sausages, beans, sometimes beef or pork, bread/toaster and waffles. Fresh fruit - some days orange slices, other days bananas. They have Tang orange juice in a fountain. Somedays, theres brewed coffee, others its instant.
You can book anything at the front desk - motorcycles, tours, airport shuttle. Theres no spa or massages offered at the resort. Theres a bar at the hotel. The restaurant is part of the lobby area. Theres a limited selection to choose from. McDonalds is 600 meter walk. Theres a restaurant in the hotel next door. But i didnt try it out.
I would definitely stay at The Charms Hotel again. The staff are SO FRIENDLY! I was traveling solo and they invited me to their company Christmas party. They are so kind!
