「Perfect location, easy check in and parking straight outside! Everything you need, spacious and comfy. Holiday Inn next door where you check in we’re so helpful and friendly- could not fault! Only criticism was furniture/carpets were quite stained but for what we paid it was amazing value for money Would definitely book again 」

「This place is even more beautiful and unique than the pictures! We had an incredible stay here and really loved the location, wildlife and surroundings. Very clean and well kept, tastefully decorated and made for an unforgettable visit. Would love to come back one day!」

「All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. Then as we were going to microwave our food the microwave had mouldy food inside of it. 「The cottage lovely and is just what you need as a home from home. It is very clean and warm. My family enjoyed our time here. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery and crockery and the dining room especially has beautiful lighting. The worst hotel stay in the entire trip

"Extremely poor service and stay. We were given a smaller room than we had asked for (images do not match the actual state of the room), and the air conditioner is broken; we were provided with fans but we do not have proper ventilation in our room, causing the room to be very hot and stuffy, and after taking a shower the room becomes very damp. Television does not work, and the fans aren't very good. There are also insect stains on the bedding. Service is misleading, we were told that our check out was at noon however we were urged to leave as soon as 11am came by, asking to charge us for overstaying in the hotel. Our belongings were held at the lobby as well because of this, and the staff were reluctant to return our belongings. Extremely disappointed at the service and conditions of the hotel, will not recommend it to anyone."
