“Great place to stay for a visit to Paignton and surrounding area. Very convenient with a view of the sea. I had a single, ensuite room which was great as a solo traveller, not always this option at some hotels. Gary and James were very welcoming, cleanliness was excellent and a great breakfast. “What a lovely property with lovely hosts. Made us feel welcome and relaxed. Breakfast is just great! Full English, whatever you like, loads of options like cereals, crumpets, breakfast bars, fruit, yoghurts, waffles to name a few. Hosts attentive and eager to please while being friendly too. Room was very nice with big sliding window and smart TV with the usuals like Netflix and Prime (bring your own accounts!). Wifi in rooms good too and beds are super comfy with 2 good pillows each as……

“Really beautiful place with a lovely warm welcome from the hosts. Attention to detail, comfortable bed and room in general with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Great location 5 minutes walk from Torre railway station and 15 minutes walk from seafront and town. Easy drive to local towns like Brixham, Dawlish, Teignmouth and about 45 mins to Plymouth. I'd stay here again definitely. ”

“Warm welcome from the proprietor. There is parking space for 2 vehicles at the front on a first come, first served basis, and free parking in the road during winter months, and a car park accepting coins almost adjacent. Access through front door is by wireless keyfob. The room had a small en-suite shower / WC area, FreeView TV and WiFi, but no bar or mini bar. The location is close to the seafront (Esplanade), and within easy walking reach of local restaurants etc. ”

“Lovely luxury b&b in Torquay. Room had everything we needed and more. Breakfasts are ordered the night before to save on wastage which is understandable. Owners were lovely and available if needed as there isn't a front desk. Will definitely visit again when coming to Torquay.”

“This is an absolute bargain - without in any way belonging in the bargain basement! A brilliant location with harbour and town centre on your doorstep - not sure how it is if you have to park your car etc. A quirky, historic house with some signs of wear but very clean, restful and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent breakfast, perfectly cooked to order, and a real pleasure to linger over. Grateful to hosts Mark and Adele for my overnight stay in Brixham. Would definitely use it again and……
