"We recently spent 6 days at the Jade Spa Hotel. This hotel and spa is a wonderful gem. This is a quiet location with beautiful views of the nearby mountains. The rooms are large and decorated very nicely. The bed was so comfortable. Paula the owner and her staff provided a personal service that is professional, helpful and amazing. We especially enjoyed having our meals served on our private patio in the morning and evening. The spa is an added bonus (we did it twice!) and added extra enjoyment...

"I loved most that it was at the edge of the town of Jardin, and yet quite walkable to the center plaza. a great cable care ride is just across the street. Lots of birds and beautiful views from the breakfast deck."

"This is actually a house with three rooms available for rent. It is located out in the country right between Downtown Salento and the Valle de Cocora. It is ideal if you plan to travel to the Valle de Cocora for some horseback riding, not if you want to explore the city center of Salento. We lucked out because everybody checked out during the day we checked in; hence, we had the entire house to ourselves. Nice! "The rooms and amenities were not as advertised. Some of this may have been due to off season. Had to upgrade rooms due to limited size. Scenery was idyllic, though. Grounds staff were very helpful. There were only fitted sheets covered by the bed comforter (no top sheets), and no pillows with pillow cases (just decorative pillows with shams). Since the restaurant was closed, there was no way to request sheets. Cable TV was not operating - we did not care, but this was advertised. ...

"If you walked anywhere. You'd get your exercise in. As the building is on a hill. But most of the areas are in the city. There's security to check guests in and out. A gate parking area. My unit had a very nice view of the mountains. The shower was a bit small trying to get in and out the glass door was always a task. There was issues with the wifi and TV may need to be upgraded or the service to get more channels and streaming services"

"If I remember correctly, we got the 2nd cheapest option (or the 1st cheapest option)... the room was very small, but it was enough for our needs. The only issue was that everything was easily heard from the hallway (I think we got 1st floor, Rm. 106 or 109), from the room to the outside and viceversa. No big deal for us, but it would have been better if the room was more sound proof. The staff was superb! The surrounding area, not to mention the road getting here, was unbelievably beautiful. Well worth the trip. "
