「We had a fantastic week and Aline was very friendly and accomodating. The house was perfect for our family and the kids loved the pool which is all enclosed for safety. The house had plenty of room for large groups like ours and the supermarket was 5 mins drive up the road which was really handy. There is a great patisere in the local town well worth a visit for some lovely fresh cakes. 」

Emmanuel and Virginie were extremely welcoming when we arrived at their holiday home even giving us home grown courgettes, tomatoes and potatoes - all delicious. 「We had a fantastic week staying at the gite. We were a party of 8 and we had plenty of room - having two separate houses also worked really well for us. The pool is lovely - a great size, clean, heated and in a lovely setting. The location is beautiful, in the grounds of the chateau, and we enjoyed eating at the large table outside under the tree. 「The house was great, had all the comforts of home, a great yard with fig and peach trees, lots of Rose trees, that we have not seen and we are gardeners, a dock to sit on watch the river Le Loir flow, the host was awesome showed us the ins and out, took us to the local supermarket to stock up for our stay.」

「Nous avons passé un agréable séjour pour trouver de la détente et du repos dans ce gîte au milieu de la campagne percheronne. Le gîte est très bien tenu, bien équipé et spacieux pour 4 personnes. La terrasse est très agréable pour les repas en famille avec une vue sur la campagne et le jardin. La piscine est assez spacieuse et propre et bien chauffée. C’est un vrai plus de ce gîte. 「We stayed at Valerie’s beautiful Gite for a week in August, 7 of us in total, 4 adults, 2 young children and one toddler. The Gite is beautiful with a modern interior and a fresh airy feel - lovely garden and the perfect sized swimming pool for the children to stay safe. Lestiou is a quiet rural village with a nice snack bar just down the road and a car is essential for a stay here. Although the Nuclear power station is visible this didn’t impact our enjoyment. 「We arrived at 3:30pm but couldn’t get into the hotel until 5pm, as the hotel was closed until then. The room was good but no tea / coffee in the room. The reception was very helpful and friendly, but it would have been good to have the menu in English as well as French, as my wife ordered her meal without knowing it included scallops as there was no mention of this on the menu and scallops don’t agree with her, otherwise the meal was very good, as was breakfast.」
