「We could not have found a more perfect location and home for our family Christmas trip! This home is wonderful and Tammie was so easy to work with and so responsive to any questions we had. And a very convienent location for our family to meet. Very quiet and so many amenities. We hope to beable to come here again in the future. We had lots of room and the kitchen allowed us to make our usual very large Christmas Eve dinner. I highly recommend this home !!!!!!!!」

「Good location as we were doing things in and out of the metro area. We all thought the unit could have used more "outfitting" of basics people need and cleaning also needs to be beefed up. This however really didn't affect our stay so we enjoyed the place and I do recommend it as a VRBO host myself from Milwaukee 」

「Had a great weekend at Captain's cabin. we immediately started a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed the quiet popping and warmth of the fire all weekend. Tammy's breakfasts are outstanding. Found some fun things to do in town when we finally pealed ourselves from the cabin.」

「This place was perfect for our little family. Me, my husband, and almost 1 year old stayed for a few nights while we were in town to race bikes. Dustin even provided us with a pack and play and high chair so we didn’t need to travel with our own. As others have said, the house lay is a little odd because you have to walk through a bedroom to get to the other bedroom and bathroom and kitchen, but it was fine for us. 」

「We stayed at the house for two nights while in town for a horse show. We had an amazing time and the house was perfect for us. The house had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the deck out back with the small fire pit and view of the river! Overall an awesome house. 」

「It was great. We were able to relax and spend time together as a family. We used all the amenities and everything was as described. The house and property were clean. The neighborhood was quiet and had lots of Christmas lights. We had plenty of room for all of us. The light in the refrigerator needs replaced and one in the downstairs bathroom started flickering today just before we left, other than that everything was perfect. Happy New Year!」

「Spent a few days here for family Christmas nearby. We've stayed here several times before and it almost feels like coming home. Love the area, the beauty of the lake and the quiet neighborhood. Our adult kids also love coming here-we can spend time together and with nearby family. Susan & Ron are excellent hosts with everything you need provided. Cabin is always clean and welcoming. Great communication. Thanks for another great stay. We will be back!」
