「Love the new renovations! I stayed here for the last 10 years when it was the Super 8. Everything is new- carpeting, linens, bedspreads, towels, paint, new modern furniture, beds, light fixtures, and love the convenient connectors & outlets on each nite stand for phone or tablet charging. I do wish the rooms had a microwave but at least there's one available in the lobby. Price can't be beat for this "new" motel!」

「A couple friends and I went fishing on the upper James and rented the River's Bend cabin. What a fabulous place! The cabin was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a 3-day getaway. There are beautiful views of the river from the multi-level back deck and the screened in porch overlooking the mountains was a great spot for a nap or evening cocktail.
