The location was perfect, we could see the river right from the yard, and the property is within easy walking distance to restaurants, the shops, the riverside parks and the boat museum. 「We had a 2 night stay at this property. The riverside deck is amazing. Overall it met our needs, but any longer would have been hard. First concern: Laundry. For 400 a night, there really should be an electric washer and electric dryer at this property. I say electric since the dryer listed on the comp is literally a wooden folding clothing rack in front of a heating vent- 😳😳 Second concern: The master bed is not level. This makes sleeping hard Third concern: Lighting is needed for the stairs...

「8 of us stayed at the River & Charm. It was a great experience on 10 acres with nice fall weather. The house and cottage were clean and open with tons of space. Just a quick 5 minute trip into town for anything you may need. The host was very responsive and accommodating to anything we needed. Would book again! 」

「This is a great spot if your looking for a central location while visiting the Alexandria Bay/Clayton area. Close to all marinas, restaurants and tour boats. From bedroom choices to outside porches to full kitchen amenities everything we needed was at our fingertips. Location couldn't have been better. View of the St Lawrence, glimpses of ships traveling in the distance, perfect weather and wonderful flat hiking right in the neighborhood. 「The property is very well maintained. Enjoyed the big windows to enjoy God's magnificent creation. The weather was chilly and rainy, so we couldn't spend much time outdoors, but sure did sit by the windows alot. Sunsets and full moon over the water was just beautiful. We drove up to see the Boldt castle and spent a day in that area. We would come back in an instant if it was closer. Sure glad it was available when we needed it. Price was right. 」
