“We stayed here to break up a journey, lovely little place to stay right by the river and only a short walk to the high street, room very comfy with good bathroom, tea / coffee tray, food was avaliable but we eat elsewhere but heard good reviews ”

“The hosts - Karen & Malcolm were so hospitable & helpful. The Laindons Guest House is situated in an excellent location in Old Town, Hastings. The Red room was very comfortable, top quality bed linen and the facilities throughout the property are sublime with every attention to detail made. The selection & quality of the produce at breakfast was outstanding - locally sourced & we would thoroughly recommend the home mage Granola with berry compote - exceptional. “Very pleasant welcome from the staff as we arrived with quick checkin and everything ready for us to checkin. The room is a decent size and clean, generally comfortable. As it’s an older property you can hear creaking from other rooms but not too bad, needs a little bit of tlc around but again overall pretty good. Bar onsite with decent pricing. Breakfast also a good selection with friendly staff. Overall we would recommend this hotel”

“Very nice pub/hotel, nice log fire, lovely room’s, and big big old fashioned bath tub in the room, large bed, only drawback no television in the room.very limited lunch items available, the same with the evening menu, very small presented and very expensive steak meal,breakfast was tasty but very strange to have no marmalade offered or a refil of tea/coffee and the full english was very small. Staff were very nice”
