“Lovely modern hotel just a few steps from the seafront & approx 10 min walk to the main station. NCP parking opposite - ask hotel for a discount code as a waitress told us one was available (but we had used the train so didn't enquire any further) Spacious modern rooms, comfy beds, very nice bathroom with a fab, huge walk in shower. “We enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Brighton. The service was impeccable. It elevated the whole experience at the hotel despite some hits and misses. Every staff was professional and friendly (even their uniform was tastefully designed). The lobby and lounge were beautiful, giving us a really good impression of the hotel. However, while we were aware of the history of the hotel, the bathroom was a bit tricky to use. It was obviously dated and needed some refurbishment work. The water pressure……

“Love staying at Hotel du Vin in Brighton. The staff are super friendly (especially to dogs!). Not the hotel’s fault at all - but there’s a nightclub a few doors away. We paid over £600 for two nights (think it was more due to the Brighton marathon being on) and I was woken up in the early hours of the morning by revellers. You hope for a decent night’s sleep so I’d recommend not staying in one of the rooms that faces the road outside. Parking is also crazily expensive in Brighton - think I’ll go……

“Pros - place was really near the front, and the pier. Room was a decent size and clean. There was a dyson fan to help with the heat. Eye masks and ear plugs were provided FOC (nice touch), komedia 15 min walk away. Couple of observations - there are a lot of stairs. My partners knee is not ao great and proved to be a little struggle. Fan was not enough at night when njghr temp was around 20C. I had some struggles in that code to get in did not arrive but i spoke to them on day and got it……

“The hotel looks very new. Not sure if it’s a new built/ newly refurbished. It’s very modern and the staff there (Brighton) was wonderful and very welcoming during check in & out, luggage storage etc. Such a convenient location as it’s more or less 5 mins walk from the train station. About 15mins walk down to the seaside which is close enough. The room is clean and all essentials kitchenware included if you want to cook during your stay. We didn’t cook as there’s too much great food temptation……
