“Nothing about this property real blew us away. I think your impression of it is clouded by it being located almost literally in a junk yard, and the outside of the property itself is not as tidy as the pictures lead you to think it is. There are piles of random junk outside and around the patio area. That being said, the inside is better. It's a homey feel, almost like you're at a relative's house. Everything we needed and more was provided. The home could use some cosmetic love, but was overall……

“This was a beautiful house. Spacious and clean with all of the things you would need on hand. We have teens so it’s a little more difficult to keep them occupied, but there were indoor and outdoor games, fishing, boating, a fire pit and we were able to bring our dog. “We are a large family that grew up with a camp at Toledo Bend and decided to celebrate Christmas this year over New Years and recreate some childhood memories and make some new traditions. Our family includes 20 people, ranging from age 6 - 70. 14 of us actually slept at the house and there was plenty of room. The house was a PERFECT size and layout for our gathering. It was warm and cozy, very clean. The indoor wood burning fireplace added to the charm. Kitchen appliances appeared to be……

“The cabin was adequate. Relatively clean except for the windows which were disgustingly dirty and barely see thru.The trash clause is silly. Note that the dump site is closed on Wednesdays (best to check the hours beforehand). There were plenty of consumable supplies in the cabin (trash bags, toilet paper, cups, soap, etc.) and bedding.There's plenty of deck space and the sunset is awesome. As expected, the mosquitoes are ferocious. The location is remote so plan you food supply accordingly.”
