「Super stay with truly amazing views. Whilst a steep walk down to the beach and back from the property it was well worth the effort as a fantastic beach. The fact that we had the beach all to ourselves on the first day was an added bonus. Great walks from the property. Property was very well equipped and Gary a lovely welcoming host. The only reasons for the 4 rating rather than 5 on a couple of the sections was simply due to the limited space in the kitchen / dining area and that you had go...

「I arrived in Montrose early evening by train, and got a taxi to this hotel. What a charming and a cosy place to stay in along with great tasting food. The hotel staff working here are quite friendly to chat to… and they also give out good info on the surrounding area as well,…」

「We loved our stay at the wonderful cottage directly by the sea. We found it perfect at any weather. If it's sunny, enjoy the gorgeous view from the garden with the patio and if it's cold and rainy, huddle up in the livigroom by by the fire. It's wonderful to wake up, open the (really thick) curtains and see the ocean! Claire is the perfect host. Always available via chat if there's a question and lightning-fast with her replies. Johnshaven is a short dog-walk away with its pretty small harbour...
