「The room was nicely decorated, was fitted with amenities most hotels overlook today. Face clothes, luggage benches, ample clothes hangers just to name a few.
Friendly helpful staff.
Overall it is a good place to stay. Only drawback was the limited dining options nearby. 」

「Unbelievably friendly assistance at check-in from Jo. I had booked the wrong set of rooms for our family of five, which she resolved in a very efficient and accommodating manner. Unexpectedly spacious rooms with gorgeous views. It beat our lofty expectations, and we will definitely hope to stay here again when we can return to Macrihanish in the future. 」

「Lovely cottage with everything you need already thought of.
Very cozy and comfortable with plenty room. Beautiful beaches very close by and lovely friendly neighbours. In fact all of the people we spoke to were incredibly welcoming - including the ferry crew. Thanks very much, we hope to come back soon.」

「From the outside this accommodation does not look promising- a ground floor property in a block of council flats, the shared hallway is pretty bleak. But the flat itself was fine, a bit basic but it had everything we needed, nice and clean, plenty of towels, quiet despite being next to a busy road. Parking was difficult - in theory there is on street parking but there is a Vehicle Hire/Garage business next door so all the parking spaces are taken up by their vehicles. However there is plenty...

「The apartment is located in a good spot to access town, the views from the apartment are stunning however, the apartment itself was not clean. The bathroom had mould growing, the towels didn’t smell great, the kitchen was tidy and had all the dishes we needed but in some places sticky and dirty. The couch in the living room was filled with crumbs and stains that were not ours! The cloth headboard in the bedroom wasn’t clean but the bedding and sheets were clean and smelled fresh. 」

「No contact from Homeaway regarding getting keys etc. Hours spent on the phone to various "customer service". Found out myself that it was managed by cottages. com. Logged in to their website to find all the information there. Probably spent too much money by booking through Homeaway rather than direct with Cottages. Com. Views were stunning, great location. Lovely gifts upon arrival (best banana cake ever) fresh flowers a lovely touch. Very clean. Missing a couple of things like a bbq and heat...

「We had a lovely time in the property, the house was great and the welcome basket was a perfect touch! Part of the reason we chose to come was for its proximity to the two Machrihanish courses but we didn't quite realise how great the beaches are as well!
If we ever come back to the area, we would definitely look to stay hear again.」
