This was challenged but the hotel continued to insist that it needed to be paid and that it was advised (despite it not being in the listing or the confirmation email). “When we arrived the place was very cold 14 degrees and a window was open. We turned up heat, closed window and went into town, returned 3 hrs later. After returning, apt warmed up to 17 when thermostat was set to 20. And also - a very pungent sewer smell was pervasive in apt. Guessing that is why window was open when we arrived? We left again to walk to Ahoy for tennis and returned 3 hrs later to an even worse smell and cold apartment. We left that night and went to a hotel. I did not……
