「This was our second time at this property. This time we took our two boys. They loved it just as much as we did. The location is perfect for hiking during the day. And the house is perfect for enjoying each others' company in the evenings. The host has always been super helpful. My youngest son didnt want to leave and is making plans to return in the future.」

「Two couples for a few days in Davis and a great stay at a fantastic property! The space was perfect for the four of us. We cooked most meals in and the kitchen was well equipped. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck for cocktails and using the hot tub when the weather was cooler. The fireplace inside made for cozy movie watching nights. You can tell a lot of care has gone into this property and we appreciated staying there. Would highly recommend!!」

「The property is amazing. It is the perfect cabin for a small family. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails. The inside was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed for the week. They even include a sofa cover if you are bringing your doggy. Perfect location for activities in Canaan, Davis, Thomas, Spruce Knob….Chip and Laurie respond to messages quickly. Our child became very ill the night before check out and Laurie was understanding and compassionate that we could not...

「This property is an excellent choice when visiting the area. The house was clean, well appointed, and everything was updated. We received clear and prompt communication from the host, which made the stay even better. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area. 」

「Great central location to food, art and entertainment in Thomas. Cool shops and close to good hikes at Blackwater, Canaan . Xcountry skiing at Whitegrass was outstanding! Also pretty close to Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods and a bunch of wild country. 」

「Everything about this place was great except for the noise from the people staying in the room above us. They were very active late at night and early in the morning. You can hear everything. Next time, we will probably stay in a place where no one is above us. 」

「Rustic but new, clean and comfortable place to stay that was very quiet and removed from only other rental along the gravel road. Outhouse was very clean, no bugs, and easy to use despite needing to go outside to the corner of the cabin. Hosts very responsive and helpful, would stay again. I would note that the Wifi is on the weaker side but I was able to do everything I needed. 」

「Our family of four stayed in the cabin for a quick ski trip. The cabin is situated perfectly close to ski resorts as well as restaurants in Davis. The owner's directions were clear from booking to check out and the cabin was fully stocked with all of our needs. My kids loved the bunk beds. Will book again!」

「A beautiful spot, the location was spectacular, other than the two mile trail getting to the house it didn’t help that it snowed the night before making it a little interesting getting down the mountain. The only thing I was a little bit sad with the American flag outside. It was very tattered. Being a veteran and a member of a VFW I dispose of it in a the proper way. We all enjoy our stay and it’s a beautiful place. 」

「The property is very nice. It's apparent a lot of upgrades have been made and more to come. Heck, there's even tissues throughout the house which you don't find many places. The only pick I have is that steps leading down to the house were barely cleared of snow/ice and very difficult and dangerous to negotiate with suitcases. I shoveled them myself the next day.」
