"We stayed in early April and were greeted with an array of wildlife the Duck's and Geese were all over the lake as well as two beautiful swan's, we also saw a heron and a beaver near the dock. It was a great getaway and we look forward to staying again!"

Mark was a wonderful host, and I really appreciated him meeting me and showing me around the home so I was prepared for my stay. "Robin and Charley were wonderful to work with and we were able to easily access the property. It is a cozy little lake cabin that feels like family. There is so much more room than it looks like in the pictures!! And the treats that were left for us was even more of a bonus! We slept like babies and awake to a cool crisp morning with coffee on the deck. It was a terrific time and we may have to plan another girls weekend here!"

"We had a group of 12 stay for a long ice fishing and had a great time. We stay somewhere different in Michigan every year. The pool table was a hit when we would come in off the ice. Nice big house with plenty of sleeping room for everybody. We all enjoyed our stay and would not mind going back again sometime, whether it’s summer or winter. "

"We had a great stay for my 12-year-old's birthday weekend. He loved the pool table, air hockey, dart board, and arcade games. The house was comfortable and the bedrooms were nice. We were there in the dead of winter and the lake was frozen over, so we didn’t spend anytime outside, but I'm sure it is lovely in the summer. The house was clean and nicely decorated. " Property is a nice, comfortable home. However, it advertises it sleeps 8 with a pull out couch. The couch is old and worn and had no sheets to make it into a bed. Cleanliness could be improved. When you show up, be sure you have every item you need such as sugar, coffee, paper products and water. You cannot use the tap water in the appliances. Bring a bag of ice as there is no ice maker. "Our family had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful, even better than the pictures. The entire home is well thought out and has everything you could need in the kitchen. We loved sitting around the fire pit each evening. Our days were spent in the water. Swimming, using the provided rafts and kayaks. We had a truly relaxing and enjoyable time! Mike and Sue were kind and quick to respond with any questions we had. We would highly recommend this home! "

Horrible place

"Closed captions were only available on NBC,ABC, FOX… other stations worked but no closed captioning. Couldn’t enjoy the movies. No ice machines. Lobby bathroom was filthy & hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Our room had tattered blanket, peeling/chipped paints falling. Room bathroom were slightly better but could tell housekeeping staff aren’t doing their best. There were visible evidences of updates/remodels… but workers weren’t clearly identified as one. They looked like homeless folks who worked at hotel to stay in a room for free. I had rented to celebrate a pre-wedding w my fiancée & we were disappointed that the room wasn’t as advertised on hotels dot com. Will not rent that hotel again nor use hotels dot com to find rooms as I’ve not had good luck. "
