Wonderful stone farmhouse in the countryside of the ancient village of Camaiore (LU). The farmhouse is located on the top of a small hill and enjoys an almost 360 ° panoramic view of the mountains, the surrounding hills and the sea.
The house can accommodate up to 16 people (6 double beds, 4 single beds) + any cots.
The farmhouse consists of two residential units, located in the same building and not rentable separately:
- a small but comfortable duplex apartment;
- a large manor house on three levels.
The apartment consists of:
- on the ground floor there is a bright living room / kitchen / dining room equipped with all comforts (large table, fridge, freezer, stove, electric oven, microwave oven) and a spacious double bedroom with its own bathroom (shower, bidet, services);
- on the first floor there is a small hallway that opens onto a large double bedroom with a large built-in wardrobe, a lovely bedroom with two single beds and a spacious bathroom identical to the one on the ground floor (shower, bidet, toilet) .
The apartment overlooks the upper part of the garden, with a panoramic view of the Apuan Alps and is equipped with a lovely gazebo and a beautiful checkerboard marble table, ideal for breakfast; the paving of this level of the garden is in grass and stone.
The main house is composed of:
- on the ground floor a small entrance, a large eat-in kitchen equipped with all comforts (large table, fridge, freezer, electric oven, microwave oven, moka, toaster, dishwasher), a large bathroom (shower, toilet and bidet), a welcoming dining room with table and fireplace and a very bright and large double stone living room equipped with a sitting area with sofas, smoking table and television and an area with a beautiful pool table where you can play (no cues will be provided, but only balls and snitches);
- on the first floor from the stairwell you can access on one side the master bedroom, equipped with a small private bathroom (shower, bidet, toilet), on the other side to a large room also equipped with a double bed and equipped from a small laundry (washing machine, iron and ironing board);
- on the second floor there is a hallway that overlooks two large bedrooms (each with a double and a single bed) and a large bathroom in old Tuscan style (bathtub, bidet, toilet).
The ground floor of the main house overlooks a beautiful garden facing the sea and the surrounding hills and equipped with:
- a wooden pergola with dining area and barbecue, in front of the kitchen;
- a magnificent stone porch with a dining area facing the swimming pool;
- swimming pool with outdoor shower.
The swimming pool has been renewed in recent months, in compliance with current regulations: for safety reasons it has been equipped with two bottom sockets and the towel has just been replaced, therefore it is new.
The solarium area by the pool, paved with grass and equipped with sun loungers, has been fenced with a hedge about one meter high, so as not to impact excessively with the landscape, and equipped with two external showers with foot-washing tub.
The house is located on top of a small hill and enjoys an almost 360 ° view, in fact it borders only on the south side with the property of the neighbors, who however do not have access to the garden and swimming pool. Despite being in direct contact with other homes, the house and its garden are secluded and very quiet, particularly suitable for families, even with small children.
To reach the top of the hill, however, the last stretch of road (about 5 minutes by car) is not asphalted and passes through a wood, after which it is necessary to face three uphill hairpin bends, these however again asphalted.
Pets are not allowed, mainly for guests' allergic problems and because the property is not fenced.
Mandatory services to be paid in cash on arrival with regular receipt:
- bed linen / towels at € 10.00 per person;
- final cleaning € 200.00.
Optional services (on request only):
- cot and high chair for children (free);
- cleaning during the stay (for a fee and upon guest request);
- chef at home / tastings / cooking lessons (price to be agreed directly with the chef).
Check-out is usually between 9:00 and 9:30: the cleaning lady will come to check
the house and collect the keys.
If you want to leave earlier, it's sufficient to communicate the preferred time in advance.
Check-out after 9:30 is only possible if there is no direct change of guests on the same day (unfortunately this rarely happens during the rental season). However we advise all guests to ask us for confirmation.
