"Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Once you arrive in Belize City, you are chartered to a marina (15 min) then taken by boat (30 min) to the island. "Small intimate property with exceptional staff. We booked the over water cabana and were surprised that it was on the cove side of the island so no waves. Also, there isn’t really a beach because they had to put in a wall to stop erosion. "

"The hotel staff was very nice and they kept the place clean. But the hotel itself needs to be renovated and upgraded. The gym needs newer equipment. Rixy at the bar is so wonderful. I could sit down and laugh and talk with her all night. She was so friendly and warm to everyone she waited on. A blessing in that business. But my stay was good for the whole week. Even when i had to change rooms because of a problem that renovations would address in air conditioning and water leakage. The niceness...

"Unusually odor in room, was easy to dismiss after a few minutes. Heard steps above us very often. Our room did not have much of an outside view. Staff was very kind and room was kept very clean. And very close to the water taxi"
