「This was our first time at this property, but hopefully will not be our last! The home and bunkhouse are both more spacious than in the pictures online. Everything was immaculately clean, and everything you could want was available at the property. Plenty of outdoor seating, and lovely ambience in the evenings. The owners were incredibly pleasant to work with and responded promptly to any query I made with them. I would give a rating of 10 stars if I could! 」

「It was the perfect place for our family to gather for a few days. We all live in different states and enjoyed the chance to come together. The bedroom and bathroom accommodations fit us perfectly. We were able to take advantage of the outdoor fire pits. Hiked in the woods and enjoyed playing many games. Wendy was very responsive to our questions and decorated with a lovely autumn feel. Will definitely book again. 」

「This was our second stay at this location and, if possible, it was even better than our first. There are no words to describe the view in the fall and there was abundance of parking and lawn space. The view from the fire pit beats any television show - we literally just enjoyed ourselves outside for hours. Inside, the place is immaculate and comfortable, with plenty of blankets and linens.」

「Neat & clean, this small home was perfect for my friend and me. It's located on a farm in a farming community, but being winter, the animals were not in evidence. We did hear the ubiquitous farm dog from time to time. Love it!」

「We live A few minutes away from this home I rented it because I was having a small gathering and I love the outdoor space and the look of the home when we arrived very clean and anything suitable needed for your stay was there. We will definitely rent again. Very pleased」

「The house was cute, and made a perfect stop for our family on the way home from a long trip. The house was clean and the beds were comfy. The Christmas tree was a nice additional touch. There were quite a few restaurants nearby to choose from, and Jim's Market is within walking distance and worth a stop while you're there. The only issue I had was that a piece or two of the silverware wasn't quite clean, there was a small amount of crusted food, similar to when you run it through a dishwasher...

「Nice little cozy and convenient place to stay! Definitely better then a hotel room but i didnt realize it was someones basement but it didnt bother me a bit you dont realize anyones above you with your own entrance in! Everything needed and what you dont think of bringing like coffee pods! Thank you for allowing us to stay and making my stay less stressful for clinicals!」

「This property was comfortable with lots of little extras to make the stay pleasant. The location was a quick drive to Chambersburg to grab some groceries/carry out or to walk the rail trail. Or you can drive a little further to Shippensburg or Caledonia. The kitchen was well equipped, the oven and stove worked well, and we found some basics in the pantry...plus some extras like a great pancake mix! We found the two larger beds to be comfortable and there are lots of blankets to choose from to...

The interiors are well planned and we all had more than enough room for our family of five. The hot tub was a highlight during our snowy stay. It was a perfect retreat from DC!」
