Great location, great bar, room was OK but nothing special. Parking garage next door was convenient. There is a $16 per day charge for parking that I'm not sure shows up on the Expedia listing but you should know about about it.

There is no place in Burlington I'd rather stay than the Hotel Vermont! This is my fifth trip staying at this hotel in as many years. This is such a unique hotel next to two typical chain hotels. It's a boutique hotel filled with all things local. A celebration of Vermont. Juniper is a great in-house restaraunt and tge second Hen of the Wood is next door. And for good reason. The staff are phenomenal and welcoming and they sell local items from the rooms in the gift shop. The rooms have a smart design with separate room for the toilet and bath with frosted barn doors that open into the room. While chain hotels put you in a generic room, this honestly feels like comfort of home...from the tweed wool bathrobe to the local authored books to the real plant in the room. Feels warm and cozy. My only minor beef is that the attached parking garage is shared with college students, so you may not end up with a spot next to the hotel door from the garage. But that is easy to overlook with everything else this hotel has to offer. If you're tired of the same old, this hotel has you covered!

This hotel is exceptional from impeccable service to thoughtful yet sophisticated design. My two daughters and I went to tour UVM and booked one (Friday) night in a king w/trundle bed room. The night before the hotel called to say they happily anticipated our visit and wanted to know if we would like the trundle made up ahead of time, which we appreciated. Upon arrival valet was quick to greet us and we were escorted to check in. The mood of the lobby and exposed (Juniper) bar was warm and modern rustic — with talented live guitar performer — without being Vermont cliche. On floor 5 they feature a lovely cafe bar with oat and almond milk, tea and a fountain of still and sparkling water which you can fill with a sizable room carafe and Vermont-artisan-crafted mugs. The king/trundle room was perfect for 3 adults: the king bed is on a high platform and the twin trundle pulls from the foot leaving plenty of space to walk and access the shower/sink room OR the toilet sink room (brilliantly separated). The decor is charming yet simple and if you like anything you can scan and order said items for yourself in your room. Quick walk to Church Street. We were too tired to dine at Juniper Friday night but saw the “late night menu” in the room and ordered the Milk & Cookies. THE BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES ever — a thin crisp crunch layer on the outside with warm, delicious high quality chocolate on the inside. We extended our stay and had fondue Saturday night at Juniper. AMAZING.

We love it here. It’s a warm hotel, nice amenities, lovely staff. We have never had a bad stay. Unfortunately, Main Street lost some of its charm but we did enjoy our visit and stay. We’d certainly return.

I loved my time hotel Vermont I traveled with my dog and was welcomed with open arm The facilities were great and the dining was absolutely excellent. The service at the front desk was so gracious and welcoming with Meredith. The roaring Woodfire was kept meticulously by Jessie who was lovely and engaging. The restaurant team was perfection couldn’t have had a nicer dinner. The food was amazing and welcome was five star.. I’ll be looking for excuses to go to Burlington in the coming months just so I can stay at Hotel Vermont.

Love this place! Beautiful amenities, and rooms. I especially loved the coffee bar on each floor! My adult children and I sat by the fireplace at night playing card games, and enjoying the fabulous drinks at the bar. In the morning I looked out over the lake drinking my coffee.
