I do not recommend this apartment. It is described as luxurious but is in poor shape, such as lights being burnt out and a shower door missing so the water goes all over the bathroom when you shower. The kitchen is very poorly equipped (no bowls, no cooking utensils, only one frying pan in very bad shape and a tiny sauce pot for cooking). I had to rewash the dishes in the cupboards because they had dried food on them. I appreciated having a washing machine, but there was a ring of mold inside the door that I tried to scrub off before washing my clothes. When we arrived there was only one single-sized duvet on the king-sized bed. I contacted the owner to ask for soup bowls and another blanket, and he did bring those items a few hours later.

Great place to stay, easy to walk to all of the Budapest highlights, both on the Buda and Pest sides. Would recommend.

Wonderful!

A great location on the Pest side, close to restaurants, grocery, and pharmacy. Quick responses from host for check in details and one snafu (our code didnt work to let us in, a kind neighbor let us in). Having a washing machine was a winner!

host communication issues

My recent stay at this studio apartment was a mixed bag of experiences, and unfortunately, I cannot overlook the significant issues I encountered, especially on the last day. The studio apartment itself had potential. The bed was comfortable, and the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. Additionally, the location was decent, with easy access to public transportation and a few nearby restaurants and shops. However, my last day at the apartment turned out to be memorable, but not in a good way. The main issue arose with the building door code. To my surprise, the code we had been using to get into the building had stopped working with the keypad. We tried to communicate with the host that the code was faulty but were met with hostility. After what felt like an eternity, another resident happened to pass by and let me in. This ordeal extremely was frustrating. Throughout our stay, the host’s responsiveness was less than ideal. In conclusion, I cannot give this studio apartment more than two stars due to the door code mishaps and the host's inadequate responsiveness. If you do choose to stay here, I strongly advise you to double-check the door codes beforehand and hope for better communication from the host during your stay.
