「Centrally located, my stay at The Lookout allowed me to attend three outstanding Celtic Colours concerts in Judique, Cheticamp and Mabou. The accommodation is all that was promised… spotless, all amenities, comfortable bed, great shower, cozy even as the October temperatures dipped and wind drove the waves along the coast. One morning, I walked to the shore on the private path… here are some of my impressions— Collindale I walk a well-tended path to the shore past the lonely cormorant...

「Serene setting, wonderful bed. Would stay again. But finding it was impossible as The address didn’t appear on Google maps. We were lost until a call back from the owner, then we found it easily. 」

「The photos don’t do this property justice! The view from the deck is absolutely beautiful and you can see the water! The property manager had great communication with us as the power went out our first night and she was quick to message us and offer to bring candles and flashlights. The kitchen is very clean and nice and there is a heat pump that came in handy. Would highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a calm get away. There’s a grocery a couple minutes down the road and many...

「What a great little cabin tucked away from it all! We thought we were WAY off the beaten path because of the way we arrived, only to find coming in from the other end of the road was a much closer trip into town. The place was spotless and we loved the privacy. View was outstanding and the private beach was such a treat. Had dinner at the Clove Hitch - delicious. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone traveling to this area. 」

「Beautiful place and we had a great time thanks a lot」

「We were two couples touring cape breton; the Collingwood villa was a great place to regroup and rest for 2 days ; place had amazing pristine beach and beautiful sunsets; great spot to visit the local attractions in Mabou and Port Hood . Definitely a must stay if your in the area ; and a bonus wss thw 10 /lbs lobster down tje road 」

This beautiful property has a view of the ocean and town of Inverness, while also being within striking distance of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The cozy, well equipped, loft is perfect for couples with access to a hot tub on the patio. The host, Doug Fraser, is an accomplished artist, welcoming and supportive to fellow artists and enthusiasts. Highly recommend taking the gallery tour to gain a greater appreciation...
