「Hotel is nearly overground station, and also bus station. The room is a bit small, but still ok. Overall tidy and clean. Staff are really nice, very supportive. We found that the bath tub was not draining properly, and the staff fixed it in the next day. 」

「I think it’s a bit pricey for the room with this size. It’s quite small for 2 people but luckily it was clean. The location is convenient which near bus and train station. However the hairdryer is not working and I need to sleep with wet hair. Also there is noise coming from the window throughout the night. 」

「Som forventet til prisen. Helt greit. Ingen heis som virket, gikk derfor 5 etasjer opp. Burde skiftet gulvbelegg på rommet - skittent og slitt, ellers ok rom til prisen. Veldig hyggelig betjening. 」

「The reception staff was very accommodating; they allowed us to store our bags both before check-in and after check-out, which was incredibly convenient. The best part was that breakfast was included, so there was no stress about food in the early morning. Additionally, there are plenty of dining options just a 4-minute walk away, making it a great overall experience.」

「The room was nice and cosy, with lovely fireplace character. The sheets and towels were crispy clean and ironed. The private bathroom was great with warm tile floor as well. My remarks - one of the steps leading to the bathroom had a torn off carpet, so it was sliding. There was a little bit of dust here and there. Other than these, my stay at The Stag was very enjoyable. 」

「Room 10 - right by the office. Handy for car park to rear. Quite noisy when the office is busy. When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. He quickly removed what appeared to be used towels from the bathroom and replaced them. Its a small bed & breakfast hotel but without breakfast service, cost EUR 4 if you like to buy their breakfast box from frant desk, but really it doesn't matter, there is a Mac Donold just at the cornor of Hyde Park.」

Two nights stay for business travel

"Goods - location was excellent, right at heart of London - clean room with necessary amenities (shampoo, shower gem) - helpful staff provides assistance during check-in, since you won’t get a reservation number if booked from hotels.com Room for improvement - it was difficult to find your room since the floor layout was like a maze. I couldn’t image if there is a fire, the guests will have a very difficult time to find the stairs - there is no desk in the room. If you’re on business trip and needs to work on your laptop, you won’t be able to do that on a desk - the room wasn’t really sound proof as there are people running (not sure why they are running) early in the morning (around 6am)"

"I was welcomed by their friendly staffs. They were always energetic & approachable. Sad it didn’t have any self-adhesive laundry in the hotel. I recommend “True Colours Laundrette” the shop keeper lady is super nice & helpful. Just 10 mins walk from the hotel."

"The location is excellent, within walking distance of many famous sightseeing attractions. It’s close to all the theaters, making it just a short walking distance after a show. There are plenty of restaurant options for breakfast and dinner. The room was quite small and lacked a table and chairs, which was a notable drawback of the hotel. But still really good value for money. "
