The Space:
Rivers Edge Cabin by Tiny Away is located in the rural outskirts of New South Wales, just an hour's drive from Newcastle. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.
These amenities include a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water through using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except for the land host's private residence such as the verandahs and sheds.

Rivers Edge Cabin by Tiny Away is located in Gloucester, an hours drive away from Newcastle, which serves as a gateway to stunning wilderness and adventure. From bushwalking through ancient forests to kayaking on the Barrington River, gorgeous campsites, local markets, and cellar doors.

-Barrington Tops is carries a world heritage listed Gondwana Rainforests of Barrington Tops National Park. Easy walks, overnight hikes, great picnic, fishing and camping spots.
-Chichester State Forest is located in the Lower Barrington Tops and offers free picnic and camping grounds, the majority located by tranquil creeks and rivers.
-Coolongolook has a river renowned for its calm scenic beauty that's perfect for boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, swimming and scenic cruises.
-Ladies Well is a special place where visitors can enjoy the cool waters of the Allyn River surrounded by granite boulders and lush forest.
-Myall Lakes National Park encompasses one of the state's largest coastal lake systems and offers great walking, kayaking and fishing opportunities.

- Composting bins are available for guests to dispose of trash properly
- Don't forget to close windows and lock doors when leaving the house
- Restricted access is only limited to the "Big House" and farm equipment
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Safety guidelines
- BBQ grills and outdoor firepits are subject to RFS fire restrictions
- Glass is not to be taken outside the perimeter of your tiny house
- Guests are advised to bring SPF 50 sunscreen to prevent sunburns
- Guest should be aware of steep descents, rocks, and wildlife habitats
- Please be careful when strolling about as the property is a bushland area with natural habitats
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
