"Loved staying here. We were only meant to stay for 2 nights, but ended up staying for 9! I would say a motorbike is needed but I would still consider a great location as it really gives you the feeling of island life. We loved the pool, the rooms and complex were cleaned and maintained regularly. Really helpful staff too! We hope to be back in the future! "

"Golden Palm was a nice, well kept resort. Nice gardens and the pools were wonderful. The rooms are standard but the air conditioning works well and we had a nice balcony. The breakfast was just ok, but the staff of the hotel were very nice and helpful. The resort is on a quiet street around the corner from several restaurants, cafes, bars and Alona Beach. Great location to have a quiet sleep, but nearby the action. Would recommend staying here."

"The Yellow Mango Resort proved to be a perfect choice on our return trip to Bohol. It wasn't right in the area of busy, hopping Alona Beach but close enough to easily get there if you wanted some excitement. At the same time though it was tucked far enough down a side road to be provide peace and quiet if that's what you were in the mood for. The room was great for the price with a queen size bed plus a smaller twin, ample room, strong AC, and décor that was a fair bit more inspired than the usual Philippine resort standard. Breakfast was included and quite delicious, served in the lobby area that doubled as a cozy cafe slash bar. The pool was a decent size and quite refreshing after a long day touring Bohol. Staff were polite and helpful although there were some instances of miscommunication particularly when they booked us an island hopping tour. The issue was relatively minor though and overall our stay was relaxing. If you're looking for a massive resort with expansive recreation options you'll want to look at the larger (and more expensive) establishments in the area but if a more cozy, laid-back vibe is your thing the Yellow Mango is well worth staying at.
