Family Time

Perfect place to spend time with family and if you needed time alone there is space for that. It was well stocked with supplies and we didn’t have to drive far to get to the beach.

Must experience location and awesome view.

The beach and golf shop are a short walk (a bit hilly) and their bistro/bar was a pleasant escape from the in-laws. Very short drive into Bodega to check out the restaurants and small shops. Nice getaway from big city life.

The view is worth the rent by itself

Seriously, amazing view of the bay. But when you aren't staring at that, the rest of the home is well laid out and extremely comfortable. Works great for 5 of us, but could easily accomodate more. Absolutely recommend.

Gorgeous views

We had a wonderful few days at this home. Furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed. Almost every window in the house boasts gorgeous views. It is an easy walk to the beach and quick drive to neighboring areas. I hope to return!

Super Bowl with a view

AMAZING VIEWS. We have stayed at multiple homes over the years in Bodega and this is our favorite so far. Every bedroom has and en-suite, that’s a plus! Primary bedroom has amazing views of the ocean. Bright, clean, overall a nice place to getaway and recharge. Management was very responsive.

The house was a great place to stay with family, however I think the beds beds mattress toppers are they were a little hard and the 5th bedroom should be advertised as a separate room off of the garage (Im not sure if it already is…) It was too detached from the house to put any children in so unfortunately parents had to share rooms with their young kids. However, this views and location are stunning and we loved the big kitchen table for our family of 9 to eat at and play games!!

Blue Horizon Bodega Bay

This beautiful home was the perfect place to have a family vacation. We used all the rooms, even the share room off the garage (which was perfect for our pre-teens). The main bedroom with the king size bed was large enough to setup a pack-n-play for the baby. The twin beds with trundle bed was just what we needed for the 6 year old and 4 year old. We used the hot tub everyday. The kitchen table sat the whole family of ten. The view and sunset made the stay very magical, we even saw a family of deer from the balcony, between the house and the ocean.

Can’t beat the view. The house was great for our needs with 4 adult couples (8 people). We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. It was clean and a well stocked kitchen.

Bright and spacious. Kitchen stocking needs more attention.

Group of four retired couples returning every year for the last 27 years. Location and view are great. Cleanliness did not get the highest score among us. Kitchen needs better stocking like a measuring cup and more than six wine glasses for eight guests. Large serving plates will be good for a meal to share among eight people. There should be a standard to follow what should be stocked in the kitchen and someone in the management should follow through.

Gorgeous views!

We stayed here the first week of January during the crazy storm. We were lucky enough to get a couple beautiful sunsets though. The week brought up to 90 mph winds and downpours. Sadly, the house had a leak in the kitchen and the front door has gaps that allow wind and rain to come in. This was pure Mother Nature and many homes had similar experiences. The views are spectacular, we loved that our four-legged family member could join us, each guestroom having its own bathroom is a plus, and the walks to the beach are wonderful!

We had a nice time. It is located in a stunning neighborhood. Loved the views from the windows and balcony! Over all the place was comfortable. We all really liked having our own bathrooms. There are a few maintenance issues that should have been addressed… primary bedroom latch on the door was broken. It’s a sliding type door and there was a very noticeable gap where it didn’t shut all the way. That was sort of a bummer, because the room was beautiful. The place needed a few updates but I suppose for the price it is understandable. Most all our group of 8 really liked it though.

Family get away

Million dollar views- worth every penny! The walk down to the ocean might not be for everyone- a bit steep. We loved the access to the beach! We appreciated the binoculars available to whale watch. The handle in the half bath was broken and the garage door handle is about to fall off too. We were unable to lock the slider to the BBQ. We did not use the hot tub to comment. We also did not use the room off the garage. That room would offer a lot of privacy if someone wanted- kind of hidden. The kitchen and floors could use major cleaning. There are sugar ants in the drawers, counters and floors. There are cobwebs everywhere. Our rooms for each of us were comfortable. The house is laid out very well for family gatherings. Loved the large round table for meals and games. The living room spaces had plenty of room too. First time to Bodega Bay to stay and we enjoyed ourselves very much.
