It needs some TLC - some deck boards and railings are at end of life, as are some chairs. We stayed in the master suite and really liked the place. Water is crystal clear, master suite has the best fish viewing, owners are really friendly and eager to please, food and drinks are decent - fresh OJ for the tequila sunrise! “The property is breathtaking! Absolutely beautiful. Staff was kind. The lodge was stayed in was comfortable and spacious. The view from the balcony was stunning. Wish there was one more restaurant in the property. There are times when the only restaurant does not offer food service so plan your tours etc accordingly. The restaurant functions on island time so pack your patience. The listing on Expedia says private pool for the lodge but it is actually shared between 10 lodges. Overall a great……

“There was nothing we didn't like about the Bungalows! They were very clean, comfortable and the view from the deck was gorgeous. Our hosts, Alfred and Sonia, were so helpful and generous. They shared tips about the islands, and booked the water taxis, so we were never stranded or overcharged. Sonia is the "Queen of Breakfast". “My wife and I stayed for 9 nights last week and couldn't believe how quiet, peaceful and lovely the place is! The beach was beautiful and private. The whole place is private! You are literally on a remote island that is off the grid! The only place to connect with the outside world is in the main clubhouse where there is satellite internet, which we didn't mind at all bc we were definitely trying to unplug. “We had an amazing stay here! The location is perfect-very easy to walk to everything, but very quiet and peaceful. Tammy was a fabulous host, helping us with everything from restaurant recommendations (which were all great!) and even driving us to one of the locations which was quite far from town and to the airport. “Beware! This hotel is not in central Bocas Town, even though that is where the Expedia map and the "View in a map" function shows the hotel to be. The hotel is actually on Isla Pastores, which is at least a 30 min boat ride from Bocas Town. The hotel is not at all convenient for the main Bocas del Toro attractions, such as snorkeling, surfing, Starfish beach, Red Frog beach, Zapatilla Islands, etc. The hotel appears to be trying to lure customers into thinking that it is centrally located.……
