「This was such a cute and quiet place! There were no disruptions, and the property was well-maintained and clean. Everything was in working order and set up well. The cabin was easy to find and had a nice pond and porch. We saw hummingbirds, frogs, butterflies, and other small animals. It was the perfect little getaway for a girls' weekend. 「Came in on a Friday evening - hit a nearby winery for a drink and light dinner. Everything in the cabin was perfect. Very clean and had everything we needed - we cooked breakfast and grilled steaks (did have to bring charcoal but we knew that in advance). The hot tub was amazing - beautiful sunsets and wildlife added the perfect touch! Hosts were very helpful and got back to us immediately when we reached out. Can’t wait to visit again!」

「This hotel is in the middle of major renovation, and in summer 2024 the entire area around this interstate exit is under development, so there is a lot of that traffic and noise. The front walkway was getting all new concrete done. The room was totally cleaned and bedding as expected, though the bathtub needed some minor repairs. I think Southern Illinois is wonderful, I left this particular reservation early because I didn't feel safe with some of the activity I encountered nearby.」
