「Just wonderful to be tucked back into lush forest, complete with a babbling brook behind the deck! The hosts get an A++ from this teacher 😄 & I’m sure I will be making a return visit!」

「A couple of friends and I stayed here while attending a 5 day class in Corvallis. It was the right distance to feel truly separate from everything, and still feel in the mix of everything when we wanted to be. It was a great home base to cook meals and have personal space while also getting into the downtown area for meals and walks along the river as well as classes.」

「The house was great. It was right on the river with nice views from many of the rooms. The interior was wonderful, had beautiful vintage furniture, and in good shape. The kitchen felt spacious and had all the expected appliances. There was plenty of room for our group of nine. There were two things that we thought differed from the description that did not affect our trip much, but we are listing them here to share. One, the BBQ is not propane, it is charcoal. Two, there was a love seat that...

「The house was really perfect for teens. We played on the game room and on the dock for house. Everything was amazing. The only thing to consider is this is right on the road and car traffic is pretty loud. I slept fine at night but woke up early every morning when the traffic started. I would still have stayed here...I just think it's worth mentioning for really light sleepers. They provide a sound machine. Otherwise this is an amazing property and a ton of fun. 」

「The cottage was perfect. Clean, fresh linens, etc. The view of the river, fishing, kayaking or cooking out was so relaxing. Close to Eugene and next door to Florence on the coast where there are sights and good restaurants galore. Chad and Judi were wonderful hosts. Friendly, knowledgeable, assessable, helpful, but not in your face. Highly recommend.」

The owners were dog friendly, the small yard fully fenced and my Aussie had a wonderful time. As a dog owner I also made sure that I had multiple covers for furniture and bed. We want to be invited back for our next visit. Easy walking to coffee and restaurants.」
