「There were only 4 cereal bowls we found, so plan accordingly. The heater didn’t work too well so it was cold until our very last day. The value was very good and overall we were happy. The lack of heat was the biggest bummer. There is a fireplace, bring firewood!」

The listing was completely misleading, and everything about the stay was a disaster.To start, the heater broke on one of the coldest nights. They sent a repairman who didn’t speak any English, and while it worked temporarily, it broke again within a few hours. 「We stayed at Ellie's Dream Cabin in late January to celebrate our 70th birthdays & 46th anniversary. Our son, daughter-in-law, & 6-year-old granddaughter joined us for two of our three nights. We were thoroughly impressed by the cabin and amenities. The great room and kitchen were particularly wonderful and conducive to a very special weekend. We had so much fun at the Alpine Slide and lunch at Big Bear Mountain Brewery, both very close to the cabin. Thank you, Ellie, for making Dream Cabin...

「Nice classic A-frame in a good location- walk to the lifts and short trip to town. Relatively inexpensive when we stayed so that was also a plus. The place, however, is quite bare-bones. The interior smells of old wood lacquer giving it a sweet almost curry-like smell- not unpleasant just noticeable. The applicances are not necessarily old but they are the absolute cheapest models so are pretty crappy. Cabinets and drawers were a bit dirty. Rooms were fine however the heating in the upper right...

「Such a cute cabin. Looks rustic on the outside, but nicely remodeled on the inside. But the owner kept the historic details. Perfect! The heat worked great. A large cozy sofa and ottoman and nice big TV was perfect for our family to enjoy holiday movies. Also a beautiful table with bench seat for meals and playing games. Our daughter loved the back bedroom with windows on two walls. She spent most of the time reading books and enjoying the sunrise and sunsets. There was another good sized...

「The cabin was great. The second landing outside was full of needles, from the trees. The chairs were broken. Plus there wasn’t enough of them to sit outside to enjoy the beauty. The beds were very noisy, in every room somebody slept in. You’d think new box springs could be afforded. The vents for the heater/ ac were very dirty. Should have been cleaned.」

"When I checked in, the hotel staff didn't ask where I booking my room. They just took my ID card to check and told me that they didn't have my room. I told them that I had booked it on Expedia. and try to give them my order number, but they didn’t take look, just told me wait ，and she will try one more time, she said 4-5 times to me in this 15-20mins she didn't find my room, … after that the room I found there was no toothbrush and slippers. but the first floor there are has sold toothbrushes for sale for $3 … I think it was drama , and I relook the hotel the parking fees was $20 and breakfast was $10, these not showing on the first-page when I’m booking. so everything was terrible ."
