"Lovely hotel. Nice rooms - but a bit dark. The restaurant was very good and well priced. All of the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. However without a car this hotel is quite isolated. The town nearby has very limited options for dining and shops."

"It was a perfect home base for my husband and I for daytripping around Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, and a welcome break from staying at a hotel. The town is close to the property, and an easy stop for breakfast and coffee on our way to other destinations. Unfortunately it was raining most of the days we were there, so we did not get to enjoy the exterior as we had hoped.Note to others: the street to the farmhouse is not paved and there are many potholes, so drive slowly and carefully!"

"Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were clean. A tea towel and dishwashing sponge / washing up liquid would have been useful, but the chalet was otherwise well equipped for basic cooking. Nice pizzeria and mini market on site with fresh bread and croissants daily as well as most other essential items. Good sized swimming pool - swimming hats compulsory but sold cheaply at the pool bar. Buses into Sienna stop near the site entrance - night buses back are a bit confusing though! Staff at reception...

"This property is gorgeous and the stay here was amazing! Our room had the private terrace and we had breakfast out there the next morning! I can’t tell you how picturesque, stunning and just plain peaceful our breakfast was out in the terrace! "This was a stunning castle to stay in. The frescoed ceilings were gorgeous. Loved every minute that we were there. The staff were wonderful. The only thing i would recommend is to add a vending machine and maybe to offer pastries in thr morning. "

"Elegant hotel in a great location but lacking in amenities. Also, the pictures online are deceiving as they give the impression that the Salla delle Feste is the grand entrance when in fact it is situated away from the lobby and it was closed for repairs. "

"The hotel is situated in the beautiful Tuscan country side with stunning views and fresh air all around. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly, accomodating and helpful.
