「Fantastic location - a hundred metres from the beach . We chose to stay in a chalet because of the beach location. In winter it’s quite a basic living choice - bring your own linen and towels and everything you might need for cleaning your kitchen . Possibly a little overpriced because it is one of the more basic chalets and hasn’t be3n modernised but it’s clean and that counts !」

「I booked this place knowing little other than it was close enough to Cardiff for us to stay after the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was very well appointed, with a well equipped kitchen / dining room, spacious wet room, large bedroom and lounge with a sofa bed. And a hot tub in the communal garden area! One point that is not related to the accommodation that I wish I’d known - some of the roads are very narrow and as it’s a very hilly area there are a few hairpin bends which I found difficult...

「It could have been a 5 stars. I stayed for 7 nights. the place was convenient, close to the city centre, very spacious, the apartment condtion was clean and comfy. The bed sheets and towels were changed once on my 3rd night. The bins were cleared everyday. HOWEVER, the check-in experience was VERY disappointing. 「Literally booked this the day before we arrived, found it easily enough, completely off the beaten track, lovely and quiet, really lovely little place, ample big enough for a family, plenty to do in the area. 20 mins or so from Caerphilly and Cardiff, plenty of places to eat or shop, just had a really nice time.
