“The staff was outstanding! From check in, bar & restaurant, housekeeping and grounds workers. Always a smile and a hello. The resort was clean, well maintained and groomed. Beautiful spacious rooms. Rented golf carts right at the hotel and booked a fantastic snorkeling trip directly with the concierge with a company Tuff Enough. Great food and drinks at the resort. Lots of pool space and chairs. A short 15-20 minute golf cart ride to town for shopping and restaurants. ”

“We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. “I can’t say enough about all of the AMAZING staff at Mata Rocks!! They welcomed us and gave a tour upon arrival, which included a complementary welcome drink at the beach bar. Over our 4 night stay, they helped us arrange our golf cart rental, snorkel trip to Hol Chan, suggested dining options close by (including Robin’s Kitchen, which was a small local take out spot with the best jerk chicken!), and called to book our early morning taxi to the airport on our last day.
