"Hotel 1898 was a lovely stay. The location is convenient and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Despite the busy street below, it was quiet and the multiple layer curtains kept out all the light for a comfortable night rest. The view from the rooftop was incredible. The spa was also fantastic! I highly recommend this hotel. "

"We had a lovely stay at this property which was located at a convenient location with transport links such as Metro & Bus stops in a walkable distance, and a Westfield equivalent shopping centre right next door with plenty of food options. The room had a sleek modern dark interior with lots of LED light strips (note that there is only warm yellow lighting in the room). All staff we spoke to were professional, courteous & super polite! "Avoid rooms 417,418,419,420 - they have no balcony and they face the top of the window arches from the original facade. You have no view when standing. Also they have no separate bathroom - a huge bath tub is in the room next to the beds and the vanities are also not in a separate room"
